Hello everybody, I thought we should start a legends of laundry series, which is a spinoff of the legends of dishwashing series if anybody hasn't started one yet. This inspired me to do a series after reading a post of the dishwashing series posted by a user. without further due, here it goes.
The GE filter-flo was such a legendary machine from the sounds they made, to the cleaning performance, to the chrome dials. I loved the way the normal/fast agitation/spin started up. During the spin cycle, you could hear the suspension clanking and the cabinet thundering especially if you washed loads of heavy cottons such as jeans and towels. All pictures with descriptions and opinions are welcome.
P.S. It was very easy for a blind person like me to figure out how to use when you get familiar with the knobs and buttons and sometimes switches.

In 50 years, from 1967 to 2017, our family had 2 of these Filter Flo washers. Never even changed as much as a belt on either one and before I knew what I was doing I overloaded them regularly. What wonderful machines they were.

spray rinse sounds

I love the sounds of the spray rinse - especially on normal speed along with the suspension clanking and cabinet thundering all over the house. You can hear it from every room you were in.
