Hi Chip, the first thing to get would be a list of model numbers there were at least 20 Kenmore washing machines made in 1958 including some wringer washer models.
You also need a cross reference because the original part numbers changed to newer part numbers and they don’t automatically cross reference somewhere I had a book of all the cross references from the old numbers Even after you get part numbers cross-referenced of course virtually zero of them are available still I think you can still get the belt for the washing machine that’s probably it. Are you trying to restore a machine or just interested in what parts interchanged with what? John . |

Thanks for the information. Could the Motor and Transmission/ Basket Drive Assembly be the same parts used in the 57 model ? |
