First picture is my 2 real Maytag washers: A107 and A506 from 1975 and 1985 respectively. Second is the phony Whirltag stackable unit at my dad’s house.
“Whirlpool took the long-celebrated Maytag name, for decades synonymous with pure quality, and began producing absolutely atrocious laundry appliances under that moniker.” Best summary of the buyout I’ve seen. | ||
