Anyone?

hibid.com/lot/152142123/speed-qu...

This is where one stops. Strongly urge members to nose around entire auction catalog as there are other goodies.

hibid.com/catalog/443780/cerfogl...

From catalog:

"Selling the estate of Mr. Leo Cerfogli."

"Mr Cerfogli was a man with the abililty to repair engines, tractors, washers and dryers and other engines/motors. If it didn't run, he could fix it. He loved repairing Wisconsin motors."

Doesn't look as if auctioneer is offing shipping for most or any items. Location is
Ankeny, IA 50023.

It looks like the auctioneer didn’t care much about naming the items right. A dehumidifier labeled as humidifier and a deep frying pan (I think) labeled as colander. Etc.

One tries not to judge.

Often these estate sales auctioneers don't have vast product knowledge and just label things what they believe they are. Then again have seen same from eBay, CL and other online sites as well.

Personally have scored some wonderful finds online because they weren't properly labeled. Everything from brand name being misspelled to dryers labeled "washers" and vice-versa.

Decent hard working people just trying to earn a living. Live and let live, that's what I say.

Above being said it always falls upon buyer to know what they're bidding upon or buying.

Have had my share of disasters caused by not asking proper questions when should have and or closely examining item in question.
