Most of those older Maytag and Whirlpool belt drive machines tend to suds lock if you use too much detergent or has a high standpipe like that Maytag A806 that’s for sale. Even when you use low sudsing detergent in my 1963 RCA Whirlpool Imperial Mark XII, that Surgilator and Super Surgilator will kick up suds before you will even know it.
