I remember seeing that model oven on display at Swallen's in the early to mid 80's. After that, the built-in ovens and cooktops were marked "A Quality Product of General Electric Co.", instead of Hotpoint or GE. |

This oven originally had a mechanical rollover clock timer, when GE stopped making those clocks for replacements they came out with an electronic kit that you could put in it, this oven had the electronic kit installed in it.
Very good oven, cooktop was slow and a pain in the neck to clean. It’s only real redeeming quality was it looked pretty when it was clean. ( and it was not gas ) John |
