Hi Ralph, those are shelves for the ice trays. It should’ve come with at least four ice trays.
This model could’ve had a conveyor belt, automatic icemaker as a factory option Frigidaire called it AIS automatic ice service. This was probably the last Frigidaire side-by-side with a porcelain on steel liner. These were pretty good refrigerators major problem areas where evaporator fan motors, defrost timers, and then just anything else that can go wrong with a refrigerator. John. |

That is the same fridge I grew up with. I remember my brother and I trying to talk our mom into the GE Americana with the ice/water on the door.
