Facebook changed something at some point and I can no longer copy and paste links to ads from my phone.

Thats just like the Maytag Wringer ELPS that my Mom bought in ‘69.   It was a wonderful washing machine.

The nephew/wife are in Pf'ville.  They picked-up a Neppy 4000 pair for me several years ago and stashed them in his in-laws' garage for several days until I could fetch them.  I'm, unfortunately (or fortunately?), not into "ringers."

That looks just like the one we had on display at the hardware store I worked at during the Summer of 1977. I rolled it out to the front sidewalk everyday I worked that it wasn't raining. We sold several like it in the 6 months I was there. There was also a round one on display, but it stayed inside. I think we sold 2 of those.

If I were a collector of wringer machines I would definitely be interested in this. Even though it’s probably an ‘83 model how many wringer machines do you think can still be found unused in the original shipping box these days.

"how many wringer machines do you think can still be found unused in the original shipping box these days."

More than you would imagine!

A member nabbed a NIB Maytag wringer several years back. It was on fleaPay but have seen others elsewhere.

Many housewives when they heard Maytag was going to discontinue their famous wringer washers ran out and bought a second as back up for when current machine died. In many instances their old wringer outlived Her Indoors so NIB unit sat unused still crated.

Then there are the odd showroom sample/display units which never sold....
