Hey guys, I was born after watching couple YouTube videos on Japanese housing and one of them included a laundromat I wanted to do a bit of research on them, has anybody here visited Japan and had a look at how different machines Are in comparison to the western world?

Here’s some photos of a Coin op laundromat style washer and dryer set

Hi Adam I have been to Japan a few times and checked out a few laundromats. They have some interesting machines. Mostly toploaders with impeller in the base. One had really cool horizontal axis topload washers which also tumble dried after the wash. Can't say I have seen any regular front load washers in a a Japanese laundromat but then I haven't seen that many.I should have some photos somewhere I will try to find them and post.

Do you remember what the laundromat was

The had the H axis machine? That sounds extremely interesting and I eventually want to visit Japan Sunday so that’ll be the laundromat I want to go to

Interesting... Many of washers and or washer/dryer combos blow anything we have in USA out of water.
