What is so special about this Maytag wringer pray tell? Its very detailed restored condition coupled with the fruit jar motor, which are very rare now and highly collectible. It still has the original flat belt running gear on it which most were converted to the v style belt by the 30's. As far as the washer goes, the dolly style agitators in the lid kind of suck, performance wise. | ||

Copper tub Maytag up for the bid is doing well too! hibid.com/lot/168318620/maytag-w... Auction company is being cagey with information about estate including name of decedent. Looking through listings and seeing work done person must have been a member of AW at some point IMHO. That or some members knew of said person who once was. Maytag Club on Smokestack likely would appreciate a heads up if anyone on AW is a member. | ||
