Still can’t figure out why this dryer doesn’t power up when plugged in. Only thing that seems to run is the timer motor and that’s about it. The motor or burner doesn’t engage at all and I know the motor works since it worked when it had the 306 timer in. Everything appears to be wired up correctly, am I missing something? Wired it up exactly like the way I was supposed to. Even checked everything to be sure nothing became loose. Anyways, I am a bit stumped.

![]() Have you verified that the timer itself is functioning properly? Is it actually receiving voltage from the outlet? Grab a multimeter and trace out the electrical pathways from the outlet to the motor. If the timer is receiving a voltage but isn't sending it to the motor when it should, then there is your problem. I would also check the start switch and door switch too and verify they are working properly. |

Here’s the timer installed. Even hooked up the indicator pilot light above the timer.
