That was their BOL SuperSurge dishwasher.

BOL did not have the electric detergent dispenser. I remember when a new house was built down the street around 1967 or 1968 and it had the dishwasher with two pockets in the door. One of them was covered with a perforated plate for a wash out type of dispenser. Maybe this is newer and upgraded? Amazing how there is no rust after all of these years.
You pushed the chrome button in the center of the dial to start and after that the only way to stop or modify the cycle was to remove the outer ring so you could grab the chrome button. If course that was not given as part of the operating instructions.

'68 model DW-DUN

I'm pretty sure this is a 1968 model, as that's when Frigidaire put dual detergent dispensers on all their front loading dishwashers. Also, they added the cycle indicator, where you could at least see what part of the cycle the dishwasher was running in. That made it easier to advance the dial by removing the indicator.
