Greetings to you all, first of all I'm happy websites like this still exist!, these used to be around for any topic back in the day.

My question: We find ourselves in a unique situation at our foundation, where we operate entirely off the grid with limited access to energy resources. With a team of dedicated volunteers, we are constantly seeking ways to optimize our operations and minimize our energy consumption. Currently, one of our challenges lies in finding a suitable washing machine that aligns with our specific needs and constraints.

Our foundation relies on the collective effort of our volunteers, who tirelessly contribute their time and energy to our cause. In this shared living environment, the laundry facilities are used by many, and the variety of customizable options on modern washing machines can sometimes lead to confusion, energy wastage, and the depletion of our limited energy resources.

To simplify our laundry operations and conserve energy, we are in search of a programmable washing machine that allows us to block or lock existing programs, leaving only one or two non-changeable programs intact. This would ensure that our volunteers can use the machine without inadvertently altering the settings and wasting precious energy.

Given our off-grid situation, affordability is a critical factor for us. We are not only looking for a washing machine that provides this unique feature but also one that won't strain our budget.

We are from Europe, I hope you can advise on some machines. I've already found the Miele PWM 9-series and the Akso Professional machines. Both are out of our budget.

The only machines really allowing that are professional.

The cheapest professional machine that might allow that that comes to mind are the Electrolux QuickWash.

Not sure if that allows the programming via ELuxes progrpamming tool - the entry-level WH6-6 certainly does.

This video shows the programming system.

Since you mention being on a budget and having a number of volunteers, you might be interested in looking for a used machine.

These machines are very serviceable and tough being industrial machines.

Many laundry accomodations of any kind just want to get rid of these machines and since they are heavy sell them for cheap to anybody managing to pick them up themselves.
