My first instinct is to doubt Maytag had production in post war Germany to produce that washer. More like someone in American military, business, perhaps diplomatic corps brought washer over.
Unless motor was swapped out for something that ran on 50hz or 60hz power could be found wringer and agitator would have operated about 10% slower on former frequency. |
