I wish they had shown a photo of the oven interior. I like the light fixture; reminds me of old department store lighting fixtures. Friends had a dishwasher like that with the reversible/adjustable upper rack. |

I’ve always wanted a 40 inch GE gas range with Cal rod burners, lol
But seriously that stove is brand new it’s worth every penny they’re asking if you have a use for it $1800 won’t buy much of a stove today. The dishwasher would also be very cool for a museum. Not a very practical machine to try to use, however The stove on the other hand could cook up thousands of meals into the future. John |

This dishwasher wsa far frmo the early 1950s model. This one was toward the end. We had several friends in Dallas who bought houses in the very early 1950s that had Hotpoint dishwashers. Their racks were all metal, the top rack sat on top of the bottom rack, not two independ movable racks. The timer knob above was also part of the later part of the series. The earlier models had a white bakelite knob with an arrow indicator.

I wonder if mice have taken up residence in the insulation with the house being closed up for so many years. |

That GE range is super nice! It is a '71 or newer model based on the panel below the drawers being a matching color, rather than black. |

If they are from a home-ec room, they've likely had a hard life. Doors and drawers appear to be out of alignment on both. Looks like they will require some work. |
