Planning on moving soon and I am beginning the hard task of parting with my washer/dryer collection. First up is a matching Unimatic set. Both washer and dryer are in very good shape and work. The dryer is a Filtrator model. Since purchasing the pair I have replaced the washer timer, fixed the thermostat water valve, replaced the tub fill hose, and the drain hose connection. I also disabled the lid switch. On the dryer I fixed the fan. Nothing else has needed any repairs since and all the lights are working. I have the original manuals included with this sale.
This is an "As Is" sale with no warranties or guarantees. Also, this is a Pickup only sale as I will not pack or ship.
The price is $995.00 for the pair.
If interested, please Email me. My email is on my profile.
I will have other items posted for sale soon.

Beautiful set. And I really dig on how the dryer has the 4 different heat settings, especially the DELICATE setting.
The only dryers I've seen have a normal & low, and air.
Would the DELICATE setting be like the AIR setting? Or is it still heated but cooler than LOW?

Still heated since there was no air flow through the dryer for "air fluff" so cooler than LOW. The thing one has to remember about Filtrator dryers and other Hamilton-designed dryers is that the infrared heat from the heating element heated the drum before it heated the fabrics so the fabrics were subjected to contact with a higher heat surface than in a high airflow design dryer like a Norge. Buffering with Turkish towels and placing heat sensitive delicates in pillow cases were needed drying procedures with these older dryers as well as starting drying with a cold dryer.

One friend in elementary school had the washer paired with an early 50s Frigidaire dryer and another had the dryer paired with a the Frigidaire WDU57 washer that was a special deluxe model with the Unimatic mechanism. I have had a DI 56 for decades now. It is paired with a WO65-2.

Eugene, that is very kind of you.

The dryer heat setting is actually infinitely variable.

Also forgot to mention that I replaced both bellows when I got the set.

Hi Eugene, If I bought this washer and dryer could I pay to have you store it for me for two months? The first week in January? I'm really undecided, I really love this set but I'm moving and thinking of room in the new place. I just wanted to check with you, if I do end up buying it!
