But it has 1962 black and SS panel color and, as always, Solid Tub chrome control knobs. If it's truly in working order, this is indeed a rare beauty. I recall a lot of my classmates in high school lived with one of these in NYC apartments. By the early Seventies, all of them were out of commission but because they were built into kitchens, they were left there either because their owners didn't want to purchase another unreliable machine or dealing with the wiring and special plumbing was just too much to deal with and too expensive. |

Lawrence, they did come out with a 63 model later that year for some strange GE reason. Earlier 63 brochures indeed listed the WD860 W.
Does anybody have any pictures/literature on GE Washer/Dryers for the years 64, 65, 66? I've seen them from 67 on into the 70's but nothing from the mid 60's.
