Good Evening, I have had several complaints of shaking and walking on the new series GE top loaders. There was a bulletin on improperly assembled balance rings and all of these machines were okay. I have been "leveling" the cabinet to get the tub centered. GE's TAG has been very much less than helpful. Load as a doughnut, don't overload, remember the machine will only fill with 12" of water, replace/test suspension etc. I am wondering if anyone has had luck getting acceptable spin performance on this new series? I am at a loss to provide a decent solution for my clients.
Most recent example is a one-piece stack GUD27ESSM1WW, that shook so much that it cracked the tub cap.

Vibration from newer GE top load washers

Hi James, thanks for the heads up I have not had any problems so far but I will watch out for it. I’m installing a new 24 inch version of that GE stack tomorrow.

We’re not a GE dealer and don’t sell a lot of top load washers anymore, I tell everybody to get a front load washer. There really isn’t a top load washer I would buy, we do sell some Speed Queen top load machines but you’ll never find one in my house.

Good Evening,
I consulted with TAG and was told that the washer is now a TIME fill not by pressure. Which is strange to hear. The pressure switch must cut off if levels are hit early? The TAG rep stated very directly that "deep rinse" is a must as there is no water added after rinse and the machine will go straight to final spin leaving clothes potentially balled-up after the rinse. I was told to stay away from Precise Fill. I do not have great hopes for this current series. Hoping this information is useful to someone.
