There are tens of thousands of those here in DC mostly electric ones but we do see some gas dryers as well. These are good money makers we do a lot of repair work on them that’s for sure overall it’s a good average performing machine, the washers indexing agitation is terrible with big loads, but it eventually gets things clean.
Congratulations on your new place and it’s certainly nice to have a washer and dryer in your home. John |

I know of someone who has one of these from 1989 under the Kenmore name. According to the model number, it was originally sold as a Kelvinator. It is very similar to yours, except it has push button controls and a console backlight. Some years ago, I did a science fair project on washing machine performance, and that machine beat every other washer I tested. I've always wondered what an actual Kelvinator laundry center of that vintage would look like. Thanks for posting pictures!
