Hello world!

I want to share a couple appliance pics and thoughts with y'all. I recently bought a home that came with a (uninstalled) GE Automatic Rinse-glo from 1959! It's pretty sexy. I have no idea if it works, it's low on the to-do list. I haven't taken it apart to see how I'm going to get it plumbed...it has a fast attach for a faucet the way that portables do.

I was stoked because I already had a GE fridge in coppertone that I was given for free. That thing is a beast, it's running crazy cold & freezing most of the contents.... Another fix that's lower priority. I would love to find a replacement freezer box door for that fridge, but I haven't come across one.

Cheers

Nice looking GE dishwasher. It's not a 1959 model, as GE didn't have Shaded Coppertone as a color selection until the 1963 models. It looks more early - mid 1970's. One of my cousins had one like this that she bought around 1973.

And 1959 GE dishwashers were still impeller machines.
