Hello everybody. At my dad's house where I'm visiting for the break, I got to use my dad's Samsung pair. They're the flexwash and flexdry. I did notice that the first cycle that will automatically show is normal on both. It does do the water recirculation during wash and rinse cycles. As for the dryer, it sounded like a Whirlpool 29 inch dryer with the lint filter on top. It is a gas. I do notice that it dries cooler on each cycle. What are your thoughts?
By the way, we always separate everything by color and fabric. Like I said, if you heard the dryer running, you could've sworn it was a Whirlpool 29 inch. I use normal for most items by simply pressing power and start which do have braille.

Most modern dryers sound similar,

Although there are differences, especially full-size dryers versus small dryers.

My question is what does the transmission oil smell like in the Samsung top loader?

Pretty sure “the transmission oil smell like in the Samsung top loader” smells like a hot metallic electrical smell.

samsung transmission

I will say, the samsung doesn't have a transmission. But if the bearings did leak oil, it would smell like heavy mechanical oil or grease that's heated, or electrical burning. The Speed Queens do have a motor oil type smell, as far as the classic models are concerned when the oil is certainly heated.
