Seller wanted to get rid of them quickly, really beat up and they both leak, the black button one had been dropped up on the front whilst being dragged up their drive… need a fair amount of work. Will post photos soon.

Worst case scenario, you can make one nice machine out of the 2.

Yup!

I would like to make both of them work well as these older LS transmissions aren’t very common in Australia anymore, I really badly need a tub seal as one is leaking a little bit but the seals have gone up a bunch in price now!

Nice save!!

Those look like fun machines to fix up. Are they both pitman transmissions? As for the tub seal, I remember another member in AU stating not too long ago that they had one NOS that they wanted to sell (Adam-Aussie-Vac IIRC).

Both Pitmans

I can’t seem to find the post about the tub seal, it’s not a horrific leak though so I may leave it till something comes up. For the newer machine I have an agitator from a commercial machine as well as the top of it so I’m most likely converting the machine to a commercial one

@smartdrive1100

That’s great! In good hands then. I like the cream knob machine - a nice contrast

Look forward to seeing pics of progress:)
