Not to be beat by LG, Samsung is also releasing its version, which they had shown here last year.

Hopefully the drying will be faster than the LG with the underpowered refrigeration system. This machine is taller and hopefully they put a decent sized heat pump unit in it.
The specs don’t say whether it’s 120 or 240 V I couldn’t figure that out I’m assuming it’s gonna be 120 V as that would be adequate. It will take a while, but this is gonna make a significant dent in the laundry market worldwide. I believe once people get used to the convenience of being able to wash huge loads without any further attention, and this will be the end of the stinky washer syndrome. Many people have had with front load washers in the past. John. |

Reply number three, the drying system is certainly warranted for at least a year. The entire machine is, I agree that the compressor is probably the least of your problem. Compressors are extremely reliable today with exception of course of Samsung and LG refrigerator compressors, but this is a bigger unit.
I’d worry more about refrigerant leaks in the sealed system. That’s a big problem with dehumidifiers in general and they use the same type of coils. John |
