Hello All!

I own a chain of sleep labs, and we wash a lot of queen sheet sets every day. The previous owner bought an LG Wave Force washer and dryer set, which of course isn’t the greatest and takes an eternity to wash a load. We have 9 beds at one of our locations, so I would like to upgrade to a Speed Queen FL for faster processing times and better durability.

Ideally I would like to have two of the SF7007FE stacked sets, but they are quite expensive (close to $5K/set). While searching craigslist, I found several brand new LFNE5BSP115TW01 washers for $900 each. I could get one of these and use it with our existing dryer, provided that I can wash all 9 queen sheet sets daily within an 8 hour workday.

If this machine machine can hold 3 queen sheet sets, We can do 3 loads per day, which means that one machine would work just fine. This would also allow us to wash several loads of blankets per week as well.

Does anyone know how many sets of queen sheets this machine can hold?

Domestic SQ front loaders have similar capacity to smallest machines at our local launderette (18lbs). Four to six queen sized sheets (along with several pillow slips) is about max one has put into such washers.

That being said much will depend upon type of fabric weave.

Crisp percale or other tightly woven bed linens that do not compact down much will likely require washer to be filled less. OTOH sateen, jersey, and flannel which do compact down tend to allow more things per load.

Like laundry said it depends on the fabric and so forth, are you talking about sets of sheets or just individual queen size sheets?

I would think it would easily wash 3 to 4 queen size sheets without any problem I guess the best way to know would be to take, bunch of sheets to a dealer and see if they’ll easily fit in the machine. If you can fit them in there without packing it’ll easily wash them.

You could easily process a load of sheets in less than an hour in a Speed Queen so you should be easily able to wash what you’re talking about in one machine per day if Your dryer is fast enough.

I routinely run one queen sheet set (flat, fitted, three pillow cases plus three allergy/protector pillow covers) in my Intuitive Eco, on medium fill level.  Sometimes two or three shirts added.  Agitation is perfect.

I would expect a SQ frontloader could easily take three sheet sets, maybe four.
