I'm posting this to learn something...if it's a heating coil, is this an expensive, time consuming fix and the $35 is going to be a labor of love and money? Or is there something else that could be causing it not to heat as it should?

Seller's AD: "Electric Clothes Dryer - Kenmore; 43" high, 29" wide, 30" deep; has some scratches; runs but does not heat up well; probably needs a new heating coil."

I’d say go for it as I am biased towards these machines. If the drum and bulkhead are in decent condition it’s a great dryer. Heating elements are available reasonably. It’s an early eighties model and I’d go for it if it was near me.
