Early KA DW, $850 (Hartford, CT)

This is an early KA dishwasher with the big blue wash arm.

Seller says the door seal needs to be replaced and other than some minor rust it works and looks to be in good condition.

$850!! in Hartford, Connecticut

The ISE-------

looks to be low-mileage in spite of needing a good clean-up.
An excellent dishwasher.

Thanks for posting this

Neat top loaders and I would love to be able to buy and ship that Whirlpool built-in; I always wanted a top-rack like that which has vessels in extreme lean position plus the wonderful silverware basket mounted on the inside of the door.

Thanks. I wonder why the steam vent in the WP was taped over. Those were pretty neat things. They filled with water during the washing and rinsing to keep the stream inside and then emptied during the drain so that the steam could escape during drying.

That ISE dishwasher sure looks like a re-badged or slightly modified KA/Hobart unit. Silverware basket, top rack moveable tines, wash arm, detergent dispenser- all look like my KDI-58 although this looks like it's based on a KDS with the heating element at the bottom.

ISE = KA

Yes, there was a link-up between ISE and KA, I believe at (or maybe slightly before) the time Whirlpool bought KA (1986) so Whirlpool was probably also involved.
