Hi All! A couple of questions, hope someone out on the forum might know the answers...🤞
1stly, the motor, and it's an original GEC one, needs a new bearing, and it's the one behind the pulley, (as usual) which appears to be a shrink fit. (the pulley that is) has anyone successfully heated up the pulley and removed it WITHOUT damaging the armature winding...?
2nd question; I've found an online listing for an aftermarket armature that is a replacement for HP part number 1603071.
This part number means nothing to me and I don't have a parts listing for my machine, the listing does say compatible with several WM machines, doesn't mention mine, but was wondering if it would do.....looks the same!
Here's the link to the item.
Would appreciate some thoughts.....thanks!
