hello to all aw members what is the model number serial number and year of production of this inglis whirlpool washer i know its longterm planing but curently doing research and considering vintage direct drive topload washer of course would go with matching dryer as well? thats question 1 and question 2 do service techs still repairs direct drive topload washers and are parts still avalable for repair

Well I will chime in and say that parts are still available and that they are easy to repair by yourself as the design of these machine are pretty simple. If a tech came to repair it and told you to junk it, I would get another tech to check them out. I believe that most techs out there will tell you to junk any appliance 5 years and older, as they don't want to or don't have the knowledge to fix the machine. Just my opinion, so dont jump all over me for answering this question.
