I have just noticed a classic Malleys Whirlpool twintub on e-bay,and it looks lke a little beauty,I am especially taken with the row of buttons for differnet functions as well as the standars timers and pump switch.
Isn't it great that some folk still have these great old machines years after they are considered out-dated.
Go to http://www.ebay.com.au/... and enter washing machines and go to page5.
Cheers.
Steve.

Here is the link.

Pretty cool! If I have to move flat again I am thinking of getting a little twin tub but right now I have too much stuff in the garage. Im renting and dread to think about cleaning it out if I have to move again.

Hi Arrrooohhh,
Say! that is a nice looking Simpson,I wonder is that the model they used to advertise as the "Gentle Giant",with the famous Simpson 8-vane agitator action?
Yes you are correct everything nice is ALWAYS in wretched Melbourne(have you ever thought of relocating interstate?L.O.L.).
