I was shocked when i saw these. They are very commercial looking and have tons of easy to use buttons and controls.. I love all the options, including the extended rinse, extra rinse, etc. Also has an "Extra Hot" (i am assueming that it has an internal heater) and many other nifty features... But it's about $3,500 a unit Kitchen aid list price (gulp)... Thats $7,000.00 for both.. OMG.... Thats how much my explorer cost 2 years ago lol...

What are others thoughts about these? Do you think Wpool might water em price wise down for home use or is this a more expensive He5t?

That's a LOT more than a HE5T....more like a HE5555T, LOL....

I could see it in a loft or something, if you had unlimited funds...

Seems a bit hyped to me. I would think that, if you had requirements like that, you'd trade up to a posher brand.

I don't think it's a Hettie or Duet under the skin. I believe they're sourced through a different manufacturer.

The dryer is made by American Dryer Company - it's equivalent to their lowest capacity Solaris launderette dryer.
