Hello
I have a front load washer by Frigidaire that I bought o4 and it is the greatest washer works well and cleans well, but I now notice that the pump is getting noisey now. is that normal for the washer being so new or is it a flaw in the machine or do I have to have it replaced? I have noticed it since I moved it to my new home but that could be because my laundry room is right next to the kitchen. in the old house it was in the garage.
the pump seens to have a loudder hum than normal should I call for service and have it done under the warrenty?
any suggestions would help me out. thanks all WCD63

Re: E-Mail Address:

Hi! Merlin, I was just checking out your Profile and noticed that you have your E-Mail Address listed as:

Reed Gaudette@ alo.com

Shouldn't it actually be:

Reed Gaudette@aol.com

instead? I was thinking that you just transposed the "aol" to "alo"

I'm not sure as to how you can change it, you might have to ask Robert "Unimatic1140" to advise you, as to how to make the change.

Peace, Cheers and Kind Regards, Steve

Merlin

I have 2 fd machines too. You may have some coins or other things caught in the pump I would open it up and check it you will most likely find coins or some trash ...

Pump noise

Due to the nature of the "shaded pole" motors used on these pumps, ANYTHING loose i.e. the attachment of the pump to the washer base, will cause a pronounced "60-cycle hum." Check the fasteners. If this doesn't do the trick, open the pump and see if anything like string, solid objects, etc. got past the filter.
