My parts will be on their way with FilterFlo to repair my 67 LK.

Any way to increase the spin speed when I have this monster apart?

KM spin speed

This subject has been covered before a couple of times in this forum, and basically, it's not practical. Anyone remember the particular threads.

So what part was needed? I remember the problem, which would require either a new agitator, agitator drive shaft, or both.

You can do what they did on "Myth Busters" They took a DDKenmore, welded the clutch somehow, and then hooked up a chain drive setup, with I think a 10 HP motor or so.
Now that thing spun......

Wow...I saw that and the dummy really flew around! I think if it had been a commercial FL that would have knocked "him" unconscious...those machines have some TORQUE!

Since it was a DD Kenmore I didn't care...now if it had been a BD machine that's another story!!!

Did you see them at the appliance store? They turned down a Maytag,to modify the Kenmore.I'm thinking the Maytag would have been a better choice!
