If the water feed tube for the top rack is OK, I would look at the valve/flapper in the check valve. Replacing this made a major difference in upper wash arm performance in my KDS22.
It is easy to replace. In the attached thread there is a picture of the valve and the GE part number. I believe I paid about $5 for the replacement valve. CLICK HERE TO GO TO labboy's LINK |

Reversing-motor units do have a check valve. What they don't have is a solenoid-activated drain valve, which is on the non-reversing motor units. Check Valve is Item # 11 The GE substitute flapper is WD1X1486. |
