DE700 Yes the panel should light up. Notice the red and black buttons on the left side they are the on and off switches. Quto on when the machine starts but you can push the red button for light to stay on. Same on the A700 washer. | ||

This sort of thing always makes me chuckle. A pair of late fifties Maytag's for the bargain price of just $3000.00. Now I'm a pretty big fan of Maytag's from this period, but come on folks, really? Three thousand dollars? Where does a figure like that come from? Did they do some research somewhere to determine the value or did they just pull that number out of their a$$?
