Avoid the Caloric DW at all costs! 
YUCK! My folks had one of these and it was an absolute POS! On it's best day it might not leave dishes dirtier than they went in and only wake up 1/2 of the neighborhood in it's vain attempt to work. It also required regular baling out of sump water with a turkey baster. It would be easier to wash your dishes by hand than to try to get this trainwreck to do it.

Ok people I would like to ask a silly question if I may?
That DW is it also made by GE ? When I was in Beverly Farms Mass we had the exact same DW only in white with GE on it this is the first time I have seen on this site a picture of any of the appliances that I saw in the flesh. I know the washer was a Maytag but I have no idea what model all I do know it had a lot of buttons and a slider for the load size, the dryer I cannot recall the manufacturer it may have been a Magic chef ??? had a drop down door a dial in the middle with a light over that was on during the cycle there was a buzzer volume knob and a gentle or high heat knob and I know they were silver and the background was maybe a gold colour??
