So I'm minding my own business in Baltimore cleaning out my late husband's condo and from out of the blue I get a call from the guy in Indio who says I look to at a pink Maytag pair two years ago and would I still be interested . As I recall they were very pricey I think over $500 and I passed on the pair. the guy now says I can have the pair for $200 or so I jumped at the chance. I fly back to California on Tuesday and I have an appointment to see this guy Wednesday morning keep your fingers crossed I will send pictures wed morning

I think I remember this guy.

I and several others tried to tell him what the typical value of these machines was but he wouldn't hear it. I don't recall what he was asking but it was way too high. I'm glad to learn he's decided to let them go for a more realistic price. Be sure and share some photos when you get a chance.

Yikes. High-mileage Farm washer? That washer sure has washed a lot of jeans/ overalls! Or something with metal buttons. Gives you a good idea of how much turbulence is going-on down there when all seems calm and boring up top! Some would say the tub was too small for the agitator. However, the solid-tub Norge takes the prize for that issue and I've never seen one of their tubs stripped of enamel. Of course, they would not last long enough to do that either.

Nice looking set.
