Also, I paid 170$ for it, it was 150$ but I felt bad since I had to use uship.com and it was a bit of a hassle so I gave him an extra 20. Its being shipped to me from Wisconsin down to me in Florida - DONT EVEN ASK WHAT THE SHIPPING COST, good lord! |

Washer looks like from 1958 or so era. Serial number would decode date of manufacture.
Everything else you could want to know about this machine including parts list and repair or service manuals can be downloaded from the library of this forum. www.automatice.org/cgi-bi... www.automatice.org/cgi-bin/index... www.automaticwasher.org/cgi-bin/... Depending upon what part or parts are broken repairs may be some what easy, moderately or very difficult. Maytag in their service manuals often strongly suggested dealers or service techs just replace entire wringer head instead of doing some repairs. It was just not cost effective nor best use of repair person's time to tackle them in shop or customer's home. At least one member has same pink Maytag wringer washer as yourself. www.automaticwasher.org/c... |
