Build date April 20, 1984.  Beautiful.  Very aggressively priced.

That is nice for sure. I think they will have it for a while at that price especially being a portable. But I guess if someone like us wanted it we could make it built in. I usually like vintage appliances to stay as original as possible. I do hope that someone who would truly appreciate this for what it is gets it.

That is one of the last Hobarts.  It's beautiful and rare, and easily converts to a built-in.

They'll never get what they're asking though, but I would sure like to know the history behind this seemingly unused machine.

Oh that price!

This would go quickly if it was a reasonable price. I’ve never paid over $200 for a NOS dishwasher. This is a decent machine but not anything spectacular. I prefer the older KA portable machines from the 70s. If they drop the price to $300 they might get some bites…

Who cares what someone is asking for a price on a piece. If you don't want it you just move on instead we have nothing but a bunch of people hiding behind a computer screen being bullying a seller. There is an ass for every seat the funnel is wide at he top and narrow at the bottom. Only someone who can or will appreciate this machine will get it. People do not realize that anyone can see the smart-ass comments being posted about another's listings.at the end of the day how does this accomplish anything it promotes hate and Division and why would anybody want to get into the vintage appliance restoration or even being a caretaker of an old pice where there is hateful comments be slung by a bunch a people who would love to have the item but they want it for penny's on the dollar than they can brag about how little they paid for the item. Now that they own it it is worth millions but when the seller wanted good money for it it was only worth 100 to 200. Yes I am the seller of this machine I have sat back and watched many run there yap about my vintage classic pieces my Avocado Gree Maytag washer My Kitchen aid dishwasher my Coolerator 40-Inch Electric Stove I could go on and on. I see it all people send me messages daily who know me every time someone makes a smart ass comment about my listing. There is not a KBB book on previously owned appliances you start somewhere and you adjust from there. People watc my auctions all of the time and when it sells they can't believe it. It is my item I can list it anyway I want to do it. When it is your item you can do whatever you choose. I choose to do it my way. Until it is yours THENand only then can you make a comment about your item. I am appalled at the comments and yet not a one of you has reached out to me or come and seen it in person. Yet you call me an idiot because I want good money for a beautiful drop dead vintage dishwasher. I will not sit back and tolerate people's comments when they do not have a clue of condition or just want to steal the item and brag on this page how they got it for $45.

I’d be more than happy to speak with you over the phone. My email is in my profile and I’ll send my phone number if you send me an email. I feel for you having to deal with the negative comments that you receive but unfortunately that is the word that we now live in and everyone is still entitled to their opinion at least at this moment in time. I agree that hateful or nasty comments pertaining to you or your product is no good but a blanket statement against folks from this website is no good either. I hope your day gets better from here.

Price you say?

It's worth what soemone is willing to pay. If the asking is to high, you make an offer. No use feeling as if a nerve of yours was struck when it isn't even your machine.

Not mean just truthful.

I certainly wouldn’t post anything to be mean, but I am extremely knowledgeable about KA dishwasher pricing and this is way way out there. I think you’d be more likely to win the lottery than get the asking price or even close to it but I wish you good luck, it is after all your item to do what you wish with. A lot of us discuss fair pricing all the time, it’s not a personal attack. I just wouldn’t want anyone to be taken advantage of if I can provide insight on the value.
