Woweee what a compare! That’s blatant 😂 I’m sure Apex machines are easier to come by than an Astor Automatic in Australia. Maybe I should ship over an Apex instead! |

Australian Astor washing machine had a green fiberglass tub and an agitator as different to the Apex bouncing wash basket. Sold by H.G. Palmer in Victoria |

Apex also made a back and forth agitator washer with a fiberglass tub from about 1955 on until the end. It was labeled under brands such as Marquette, Zenith, Montgomery Ward and a few others, apparently Astor as well. I assume it was produced in Australia using Apex's design.
