It's been so long since I removed a KD-18 motor that I can't picture how. The service manual doesn't give much help in way of reassembly directions either. I imagine someone will chime in sooner or later. |

On KitchenAid KD 18 through 22 dishwashers
Hi Peter, you can probably see in the picture that Dan posted in reply number four how it goes in you lift up the curved handle you hook the tightly bent part of the bracket over the knobb on the top of the motor with the rubber against the porcelain tub And then you push down the curved handle and pushes against the top of the motor which puts downward tension on the motor, pulling it in a downward direction.
